What we are looking for:

  • Thoroughly researched parenting topics
  • Product reviews

All articles and essays should be written with Mommas in mind, or should be about topics pertinent to Mommas.

Who reads us:

  • Mommas, ages 20-40
  • Working Mommas
  • At home Mommas
  • A few Dads

What you get:

  • A byline with your article, essay, or recipe
  • Up to 2 links back to your website (in bio at the end of your published piece)
  • Great exposure within a community of Mommas

How to submit:

  1. Take a look around our website to get an idea of the types of content we publish.
  2. Do not submit your first draft. Polish your piece until it sparkles and shines. Watch for errors in grammar, spelling, and content.
  3. When your piece is completed, edited, proofed, and rewritten, ask yourself, “Is this something I would enjoy reading?” If you answered no, go back and work on your piece again before submitting.
  4. Once your piece is ready, you can submit it at submissionsX@Xmommahelpers.com (remove the two X’s). Allow up to two weeks for a response. If you do not receive a response after two weeks, feel free to send a follow-up.

*What to include in your submission:

Please follow these steps to receive top priority attention to your submission. Failure to comply with all four steps of these directions will result in immediate deletion of your submission.

  1. Title of your submission & word count in subject line of email. Example: Momma Needs Help (650 words)
  2. Submission should be included in the body of your email. We do not open attachments.
  3. Include a brief bio at the end of your submission (no more than 150 words). You may include up to 2 links back to your website.
  4. Include a list of sources or references beneath your bio (if applicable). This should include interview sources, websites, etc. used in the body of your submission, and will be perused for fact-checking purposes.
